Recapping initially, having a website doesn’t guarantee your success. You need to have a flow of traffic coming or driven to your website, if you are promoting someone else’s website with their products or services or if it for the benefit of your own business.

SEO is defined in Wikipedia as the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine’s unpaid results—often referred to as “natural,” “organic,” or “earned” results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search, news search and industry-specific vertical search engines.
As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content, HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic. As of May 2015, mobile search has finally surpassed desktop search, Google is developing and pushing mobile search as the future in all of its products and many brands are beginning to take a different approach on their internet strategies.
There are multiple guides, courses and tutorials available on how to SEO your website. If you are in online marketing for the long haul, then SEO is the way to go. Do the full spectrum of SEO is able to create the impact you want and need with your visitor attendance.
Free, targeted traffic is defined and truly simplified in laymen’s terms as – when a visitor arrives at your website, likes and wants what is offered in one of your advertisements, clicks on that advertisement, arrives at the website or sales page you have created for the product or service you are marketing which if done correctly and with enough appeal will result in that visitor buying your advertised product or service.
It is for you to decide how you get a targeted audience and visitors to your website and at what costs you are willing to expend.
With this final part, you have been presented with three methods of obtaining free traffic. It is your decision on the who do you really want coming to your site, what method you will implement, where and why do you want them landing on your website and how will you go about using and putting these or other traffic ideas into action.
To obtain the results today of having specifically selected or targeted traffic that can be classified as quality visitors to your website will require your time to research and them to put them in place. This is not to say these are the only ways, nor are they 100% guaranteed to produce results. However, if after your own research you make a decision to use one or more of these methods would any of them be worth the try if you are then able to reap the benefits of having visitors come to your website?
